Your community care appointments in My HealtheVet have been set up for you by the VA. They are not at your VA facility, but scheduled for you in the community. This appointment type is listed under your VA Appointments as Community Care.
If you have a question regarding your community care appointment, please contact your VA facility. You may use the VA Facility Locator to find the VA facility phone number where you receive care.
Please note: If your community care appointment was canceled or rescheduled by the community provider, it may not show up on your calendar or in your VA Appointment as CANCELED. If you do not get a reminder about your appointment from the community provider, you should call them.

On my appointment event detail in My HealtheVet what does 'Status' mean?
The status of your appointment lets you know the standing of your appointment with the VA clinic.
- Future appointments will have a status of Confirmed or Canceled. It is always good to check the status of your VA Appointments before your clinic visit.
- Past appointments will have a status of Completed, Canceled and No Show. If you feel the status is incorrect, you can contact your VA health care team or other VA staff.
- The Unknown status will sometimes display. It is temporary status. You can check your VA appointment later to see if the status has been updated.
Can I receive an email reminder about my appointments?
Yes, you can receive email reminders for your VA appointments by setting them up on your My Profile page in My HealtheVet.
You will receive 2 reminder emails for each appointment. Emails are sent 14 days and 3 days prior to your appointment. The email reminders are sent to the email address you provided when you registered for My HealtheVet. When you change your email address, be sure to make that change in your My HealtheVet account on your My Profile page.
Can I add my non-VA appointments to my Health Calendar in My HealtheVet?
You can add your non-VA appointments:

What should I do if a scheduled VA Appointment is not listed in My HealtheVet?
Contact your VA health care team or other staff to confirm your scheduled VA Appointment.
On my Health Calendar in My HealtheVet, why can't I see a VA Appointment that used to be there?
Some VA Appointments will no longer appear on your Health Calendar because that type of appointment does not require a face-to-face visit with your health care team or other team member. For example, an appointment for your health care provider to put in a consult will no longer appear on your Health Calendar because you do not have to do anything. Another reason is that the clinic is no longer available.
