Chemistry/Hematology Summary
The Chemistry/Hematology Summary page displays a list of test results that have been extracted from your VA electronic health record. Test results will be available to view in My HealtheVet seven days after the results have been reviewed by your provider and entered into your VA medical record.
When the page appears, one of the following messages will display at the top:
We are updating your Chemistry/Hematology information - This icon and message appear when the system is retrieving chemistry/hematology test results from your VA electronic health record. Depending on the number of test results being retrieved, this process may take several minutes. You may click the Refresh button to update the page with the most recent test results.
Your Chemistry/Hematology information update is complete - This icon and message appear when the retrieval of your chemistry/hematology test results from your VA electronic health record is complete.
Updates from the following VA electronic medical records are temporarily unavailable - This icon and message appear when the system is unable to retrieve your chemistry/hematology test results from your VA electronic medical records.
Updates from the following VA electronic medical records and access to your VA personal health records are temporarily unavailable - This icon and message appear when the system is unable to retrieve your chemistry/hematology test results or provide access to your personal health records.
No test records found - This message appears when no test records are found in your VA electronic medical record.
The Summary page is set to automatically display ten (10) entries. To show more test results, go to the bottom of the page and select the links in the 'Number of rows to display per page' section to move through your entire list.
The columns for Date/Time Collected, Specimen, or Location can be sorted in ascending or descending order. Select a triangle to sort a column.
Printer Friendly - Select this link to display a printer friendly page designed to print on an 8 1/2 x 11 inch sheet of paper.
Amended - If this word appears to the left of the Date/Time Collected column, it indicates that the test result value changed after a result value was released to your provider. Amended results are available immediately. If you have a test result that was corrected, you will see the word Amended next to the test.
Date/Time Collected - The actual date and time that the specimen was collected is listed in this column. Select the underlined Date/Time to display a page with the full detail of the test results.
Specimen - The type of specimen used for testing is displayed in this column.
Location - The name of the VA location where the Lab Test was ordered is displayed.

Number of Items Displayed - Ten rows per page are displayed by default. To view more than 10 rows, select a setting from the 'Number of rows to display per page' section at the bottom of the page.
